Our farm is located outside of Marsing, Idaho backed up to the Owyhee Mountains.
We officially started our raw dairy in 2018. Seth and Andi both grew up on Idaho farms are are excited to continue that tradition.
Our milk stands out from the rest because our cows are grain free! (Gut health 🙌🏼)
Our cows are pasture happy (they are not confined to a feed lot) and are rotated on 40 acres of pasture during the growing season. During the winter they are able to still roam and are fed grass hay to snack on.
They are provided dairy quality alfalfa hay always. They are supplemented with a custom mix of sunflower seeds and peas made locally by a small mill during milking time.
Our cows produce about 85% A2 milk. Our milk is already easy to digest though as it is left raw and natural.
Our farm is irrigated by well water and not canal so we do not get chemicals on our pastures.
Our milk is natural and healthy! The cows are milked, the milk is filtered, put into our cooling bulk tank which cools the milk down super fast, and then it is botted. The faster the milk is cooled the better tasting and longer shelf life it has 🙌🏼
Our cream is simple as well! You put fresh raw milk straight from the cow filtered into the cream separator and then put the separated cream into our smaller cooling bulk tank. The skim milk goes to our pigs 😋
